me 28t RC version is an automatic edgebander with glue pot and pre-milling unit, designed for demanding carpenters and woodworking shops. With this automatic edge bander it is possible to edge band, with great flexibility, with melamine edges, PVC and ABS up to 3 mm and wooden strips up to 5 mm.
The perfect finish is guaranteed by the panel conveying track (exclusive solution), which prevents the panel having the feed affected by the typical pulses generated by the pinion of a traditional feed track and ensures a smooth and linear panel movement.
The special End-Cutting Unit with “Radius” function, installed in place of the standard end cutting unit, allows to make a radius on the corners of the edged panel without the need for the operator to have to finish by hand at a later stage, ideal to obtain a high-quality finished product.
Control panel for simple and intuitive machining
Positioned on the front of the machine, it allows an easy selection of all the main functions, among them, the operating units switching on and off. The PLC guides the operator during maintenance, cleaning, diagnostic operations, etc.

- Glue pot unit, edge loading and pressing system equipped with innovative system of self-lubrication of the glue pot, enables a more extensive use of the edge banding machine without the necessity of lubrication.

- Pre-Milling Unit, which corrects any panel imperfections before the gluing operation. It utilizes 1 tools with opposing rotation and timed intervention that, through the removal operation, corrects any panel imperfections caused by the saw cutting process and panel storage. The independent exhaust system and the air blowing device removes dust and chips from the panel.
- Superposed trimming unit, equipped with vertical copying pads for an accurate positioning of tools with reference to the cutting point.
- Edge scraping unit for the finishing of 2 mm PVC/ABS edges. It assures an excellent vibration free finish thanks to its high rigidity structure.. Equipped with pair of radius knives (R = 2 mm) and a user-friendly device for exclusion of the unit when it is not in use.
- Glue scraping unit, eliminates any excess of glue in the joint between panel and edge, improving the panel cleaning.
- Device for the panel edge heating set in the machine before the gluing unit to heat the panels for a better glue sticking, thus optimising the edge banding. The device is particularly useful in case of cold working environments and/or panels stock
